Challenge

The Fashion and Textile Museum is a small, exhibition-led museum in Bermondsey and the UK’s only museum dedicated to contemporary fashion and textile design. Its current challenge lies in making the museum feel more participatory, transforming it into a space where young creatives can not only observe fashion history, but actively engage with its future.

Approach

My design is inspired by the blueprint of the museum space, tying directly to my goal of creating stronger engagement between young creatives and industry professionals. The space is reimagined as a flexible environment that can support exhibitions, work and study areas for designers, and gala-style events that encourage connection, exchange, and community.

Merchandise

Bookmarks and notebooks are designed as take-home souvenirs for guests, while badges are created for networking and connection events. Each item follows the museum’s blueprint-inspired design system, extending the visual identity across both the space and the visitor experience.
